About Daniel J Clare

I began my career as a Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) Practitioner at age 19, running a busy Shiatsu and Oriental Medicine Clinic. Since that time I have attained Degrees in Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Western Herbal Medicine, Homoeopathy, Remedial Therapy, Bioregulatory Medicine and in 2013 a Master's Degree in Clinical Practice, majoring in evidence based CAM.

I also hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Southern Cross University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP) from Australian National University and practice as an enrolled Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.

I continue to combine active clinical practice with ongoing academic research and professional development. This has created a focus for me of providing patient centred and informed health care for chronic disease sufferers and their complex health needs.

I firmly believe CAM is a valuable part of our wider health and medical system and when practiced through evidence based principles fills many gaps in standard care. Safe, cost effective and patient-centred Complementary Medicine is my focus and my commitment to myself and my patients.
